Select the Generate Foliage button and boom, you now have grown Foliage on your map. Once done then select the Allow Foliage option, move the Density Bar which determines how thick of Foliage you want on your map. Selecting the Disallow Foliage option, then click and drag on your map will show the areas that you decide not to have Foliage grow. This color shows that you have allowed the entire map to generate Foliage. Selecting the Allow Foliage option will turn your map into a different color.

This tool is pretty easy to pick up and to use on your custom Map, Mod or Game Project. This Brush will allow you to create the natural Foliage of the planet or map type that you are using on your map. You will also be able to make turns and curves with your roads if you so choose. Then just select your beginning point on the map, and then your end point. Changing the width will change how wide or narrow you want the road to be. Selecting Add Road and then the selection of the type of texture will be available.
Depending on the map you will usually only have one type of Road to use as far as a selection. This Brush allows you to add and layout different roads on your Map, Mod, or Game Project. You can also select Edit in order to create your own custom liquid as well. There is a preset list of water and other various liquids already created that can be used. You will want to lower the height of the area where you want to place Water.Īctions are pretty simple Add or Remove Water is your options. This Brush allows you to place Water on top of the 3D Landscape in order to simulate rivers, lakes, or even oceans. The Terrain Objects themselves are similar to Doodads as they add different types of visuals to the Map, Mod, and Game Project. Showing and Hiding Terrain Cells modifies the way the visuals look of the texture of the ground. The actions you can perform with this Brush are Add Terrain Objects, Show Terrain Cells, and Hide Terrain Cells. You will want to select and place the object. This Brush allows you to place certain Terrain Object or animations in order to add appeal to your map. Keep in mind that Ramps can only be added on top of Cliff areas. The last two Icons are settings in order to use a different type of textured Cliff. The different Cliffactions that can be performed are Raise Cliff, Lower Cliff, Same Level Cliff, Add Ramp,and Remove Ramp. Selecting and Holding while selecting your map will make these changes. You can create a Cliff that is raised up to a higher elevation, or you can create great black holes of death. Additional points gained beyond the research caps of 25 Zerg and 25 Protoss are exchanged for credits, allowing the player to purchase more Armory upgrades or Mercenaries. There are 36 Zerg and 39 Protoss research points in the campaign.

I did some digging, and it seems that the recent StarCraft II update has changed the permissions on the folder in Documents/StarCraft II, causing a whole host of issues not limited to the problems I was having. I also noticed that there were a bunch of files with the writeCacheBackup extension that existed, which to my knowledge was the result of the game not being able to delete such files after having created them, which is consistent with my attempts to move and delete files. I recently noticed that when I was trying to move files and delete files from my Replays folder, that I didn’t have permission to do so, despite being logged in as an administrator on my computer.
